One of their clients, Hastings Hotels Collection who had been partnering with Agilysys was opening its seventh location—the Grand Central Hotel Belfast—in Northern Ireland. They wanted to continue the enhanced guest experience in their newest location as well and therefore decided to include Visual One as their property management solution for the hotel’s 300 well-appointed rooms and suites. Hastings required access to individual guest profile data to give their staff the ability to deliver a personalized guest experience. They also needed real-time data regarding guest room inventory and availability. By leveraging their longstanding partnership with Agilysys and their Visual One PMS solution they were able to get accurate guest room inventory and availability. Today, all their seven properties interact with each other through the Visual One PMS solution to share guest profiles. “Not only can we cross-sell between our properties because we have the insight between locations, but we can use that insight to identify when a guest is planning a stay at our new Grand Central Hotel where we may not yet have their favorite brandy.
